Robert McMicken

Robert McMicken is a first year PhD student studying nineteenth century American history and the cultural identities of a long nineteenth century North American West.

Robert received his MA in History from Salem State University in Massachusetts where he focused his studies primarily on nineteenth century American history and the American Civil War. His master's level research culminated in a study of New England Civil War regimental bands and their role in the formation of New England volunteer infantry regimental communities and identities.
