Graduate Assistant

Alyssa Giuliana Wood is an M.A. student from Fountain Hills, Arizona. She is deeply inspired by her roots in the Sonoran Desert while also having an interest in cultures around the world. She has a love of teaching and a background in socio-environmental education through internships with the Copper Center and Mission Garden. Her interests are wide and bonded simply by a love of learning and the belief that few things are not worth knowing about. Throughout her undergraduate career she incorporated insights from a variety of departments. Alyssa hopes to continue using a broad context to provide unique analyses of the American Southwestern and beyond as she embarks on her graduate journey.
