JUST PUBLISHED! Transforming Empire, a festschriften in honor of Dr. Linda Darling

Congratulations! A festschriften, a book honoring our colleague Dr. Linda Darling, emeritus professor of History, has just been released. Co-edited by three of her University of Arizona PhD graduates, Serpil Atamaz, Onur Inal and Alexander Schweig, Transforming Empire: The Ottomans from the Mediterranean to the Indian Ocean: Essays in Honor of Linda Darling, is published by Brill. The work includes contributions by a range of scholars including many with UA connections, such as Emine Evered, Ziad Fahmy, Richard Eaton, and Mrysini-Manney-Kalogera, along with Atamaz, Inal, and Schweig.
