U of A hosts public forum on César Chávez Building naming review:


What: The University of Arizona is hosting a public forum as part of a review of the César E. Chávez Building name by its Naming Advisory Committee.
When: Thursday, April 30, 4-5:30 p.m.
Where: Manuel Pacheco Integrated Learning Center, room 120. Park in the Cherry Avenue Garage (map).


The University of Arizona is hosting a public forum as part of a review of the César E. Chávez Building name by its Naming Advisory Committee. The review was initiated by President Suresh Garimella and includes input from campus and community members.

This forum is part of that process and is intended to provide an open space for dialogue and reflection. Input gathered at the public forum will help inform the committee’s recommendations. The discussion will include perspectives on the farmworker movement, community impact, support for survivors, and considerations for next steps.
