Yuechen Pei

I am a student of the Accelerated Masters Program in the Department of History. I did a Tucson Asian American study in my senior capstone class, focusing on the social and economical existence in the U.S. of Chinese immigrants, tracing the ties between Chinese diaspora and their homeland. I have deep a interest in social and cultural history of modern China society. I was involved in a field investigation of residential house styles of natives and migrants in Southern China during the 2021 spring holidays.
