Benjamin Miller is a graduate student in the Division for Late Medieval and Reformation Studies. He hails from Sitka, Alaska, where he grew up fishing commercially with his family. His undergraduate years were spent at Northwest Nazarene University, in Nampa, Idaho. His interests center on borders studies, particularly the movement of people and ideas (including religious ideas) from one culture to another, and how this movement influences the host culture in the domain of cultural innovation, renewal, or reactionism.
