Alexandra Labenz is a second-year M.A. student in the Division for Late Medieval and Reformation Studies, with undergraduate degrees in History and in Computer Science from Arizona State University. Her research focuses on medical and intellectual history, particularly the emerging practices of dissection and anatomical science in early modern Europe. Alex is also exploring opportunities to synthesize their scientific and humanities backgrounds in the growing field of Digital Humanities, both to provide new research avenues and to more effectively communicate academic research to a wider public.
