The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is sponsoring a traveling exhibition, "Varian Fry, Assignment Rescue: 1940 - 1941" which will be held at the Pima County Fairgrounds on April 3 - May 2, 2006. In conjunction with the exhibition, the Museum is sponsoring a presentation by Dr. Severin Hochberg, senior historian at USHMM, on "The Role of Antisemitism and Nazi Policies 1933 - 1941." This talk is free and open to the public. The talk will be held on Monday, April 24 at 7:00 pm at the Jewish Community Center, 3800 E. River Road. Dr. Hochberg will also make a presentation to Prof. Susan Crane's class, HST 415: Modern German Cultural History, on April 25.
