Frank Whitehead

About Frank Whitehead

I am a PhD candidate in United States history, focusing predominantly on the 19th and 20th century West.  I am specifically interested in rodeo, human-animal history, the environmental history of the West, and questions of gender and masculinity.

I completed both my BA (2011) and MA (2013) at the University of Arizona. I have also gained an appreciation for the administrative side of higher education as the graduate program coordinator in the School of International Languages, Literatures, and Cultures since August 2014.
