About Claire Perrott

Claire Perrott is a Ph.D. student at the University of Arizona. She holds a B.A. in Latin American Studies and Spanish from Lake Forest College in Illinois. Claire studies Latin American history with an emphasis on culture and landscape in twentieth century Mexico. Her research interests also extend to the American Southwest and the Rainbow Bridge Monument Valley Expeditions in the 1930s. The research on the expedition informs her current investigation on a scientific expedition to Mexico in the 1950s as both events produced plentiful photographic evidence.
