Professor Pieper Mooney and Lora Key are organizing an Oral History Workshop for any grad students interested in learning more about working with oral histories, conducting oral histories, or is just curious. We will have a couple of short readings (which we will distribute digitally) and a few exercises to hone our skills in conducting oral histories. Even if you are not working with oral histories right now, or even you don't see yourself conducting oral histories, this workshop will be a great addition to your researching skills. You never know when you will find a great treasure trove of material! We plan on having light snacks and lively conversations, so if you are interested in attending please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
