The Division for Late Medieval and Reformation Studies together with St. Philip’s in the Hills Episcopal Church take great pleasure in inviting you to our 2012 Summer Lecture Series, “Voices for Peace in a War-Filled Age.”
This year’s series will take up the theme of voices advocating peace in the war-torn sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Despite recurrent violence, often parading in the guise of religious affirmation, a few individuals ventured to express their own skepticism toward war as an acceptable undertaking for people of faith.
All lectures are free and open to the public. They will be held in the Bloom Music Center at St. Philip’s in the Hills Episcopal Church (4440 N. Campbell Avenue, Tucson, AZ) and will begin at 10:15 am.
