Dr. David Gibbs had an article accepted for publication in Critical Asian Studies, entitled "Reassessing the Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan: A Delcassified History." The article will also appear in German translation, in an edited volume published by the Institute for Social Research, Hamburg. In addition, Gibbs recently had letters to the editor published in the London Financial Times and in Harper's Magazine.
